The snow has melted and the crew of The Lewis & Clark Riverboat is preparing the boat for another great summer on the Missouri River. Last fall, a large crane removed the boat from the water. Throughout the winter, the boat underwent routine maintenance and improvements to the interior. Over the next 5 years, the Lewis & Clark riverboat’s interior will transition toward a 19th century steamboat heritage aesthetic. Edison-inspired lightbulbs have been added as one small step in that larger direction.
This summer, visitors will see a couple new cruises added to the schedule. Saturday Brunch will be catered by Harvest Brazilian Grill of Mandan. Guests on this cruise can enjoy a buffet of fresh pastries and unique dishes during a 90 minute cruise on The Missouri River. The new schedule has even more discount cruise tickets than ever before. These special deals will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays. Of course, the schedule still features the local favorites like the Sunset Cruise, BBQ Dinner cruise and more.
The Lewis and Clark Riverboat is the largest event space on one of the last free flowing stretches of the Missouri River. North Dakota brewed beer – including Fargo Brewing, Laughing Sun Brewing, and Buffalo Commons Brewing – is poured from the taps, and staff creates new drink specials weekly. Concessions are also available for purchase on all cruises including Pride of Dakota favorites like Dot’s Pretzels and Exceptionally Nuts.
